SMS MESSAGING We may sometimes inform you about your test results / diagnosis via text message. By giving the surgery your mobile number consent to receive information via text message is implied. If you do not wish the surgery to contact you or via text please inform reception. 

LATE FOR AN APPOINTMENT - if you are late for the start of your appointment the clinican may not be able to see you. This is to reduce other patients wait time by sticking to their appointment times.

FLU VACCINATIONS In order to provide greater protection to our patients we are offering the QUADRIVALENT flu vaccination. Which protects against 4 strains of the INFLUENZA VIRUS.

Flu vaccination  If you did not take advantage of our Flu Vaccination drop in clinic you can still receive your flu vaccination. Contact reception to book an appointment

CHILDHOOD FLU VACCINATIONS. All children born between 1st September 2013 and 31st August 2015, or eligible patients who are under 18's that have a chronic disease can also have the nasal flu vaccination at the surgery. Please note if the child missed their flu vaccination at school please contact the school nurses to rebook it. 

PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS

Please click here for more information on how to order your repeat prescription. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO EMAIL PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS. This is due to the fact that the email address is not secure and should not be used for patient sensitive information.

Emergency Treatment after RTA's.

If you are seen at the surgery for emergency treatment after a road traffic accident you will be required to pay a fee of £21.30 which can be claimed back under the drivers insurance, see the main page for Further Information 

YELLOW FEVER CENTRE

We are now a Yellow Fever Centre and can offer Yellow Fever vaccinations to anyone who requires this.  You do not have to be a patient here to receive a Yellow Fever vaccination. Please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment with the nurse. The cost is £59.59 - this is for the vaccination and the certificate, payable in cash only at reception

Saturday Opening Hours Information;

We are open every 2nd Saturday morning of the month between 08:30 to 12:00, for pre-booked appointments only.

Patients requiring urgent treatment or a home visit during these hours must contact 111.  You will be able to collect prescriptions from the Surgery and you can still post your prescription requests in the red box at reception.  However, these requests will not be dealt with until Monday and will not be ready until 72 hours from then. 

We regret that we will be unable to deal with general enquiries on Saturday mornings.

Telephone Access;

  • Monday to Friday 08:00 - 12:45 & 13:15 - 18:30.
  • Saturday mornings from 08:30 - 12.00. However this is only for booking or cancelling appointments. Unfortunately we shall be unable to deal with general enquiries.
